Legrand to Power Up Electronics Market in Cambodia

Edge supplier Legrand has initiated a partnership in an effort to distribute power supply systems throughout the Cambodian market.

The worldwide provider of home automation and wiring management solutions will be partnering up with locally-owned Business Machines and Supplies Center in Phnom Penh Cambodia. BMSC catalog consists of electronics and other electrical devices. In cohesion with Legrand’s expertise in switches, circuit breakers, and distribution boards, BMSC is looking to provide a single-phase uninterruptible power supply to help Cambodian companies and end-users manage their applications during power outages.

Wandrille de Pierrefeu, Legrand’s local country manager, notes that several of the supplier’s products have been implemented in many of Cambodia’s local facilities, such as the Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports as well as the Calmette Hospital and Aeon Mall.

Legrand has been traditionally well-regarded in Cambodia for the quality, safety, and efficiency of its products, thus the demand for Legrand products, electrical and digital alike, has increased over the last few years,” de Pierrefeu said. “Today we go one step further, with the help of our partner BMSC, to bring our single-phase UPS to Cambodia in order to provide clean and reliable power.”

The partnership will be guided under the oversight of BMSC CEO Ann Dyna, who notes that the company is thrilled to be working with Legrand and hopes to honor their partnership with high standards of their services and products.
