Video surveillance products and solutions provider Hikvision has received the award for “Best Sales Support North America 2017” at the 2018 Kickoff Expo and Vendor Symposium in Orlando, Florida.

Selected by wholesale distributor ADI Global, the award celebrates Hikvision’s dedication to customer service as well as a recognition of the company as a partner that demonstrates successful sales as a result of expanding their North American customer base. To also be considered for the award, Hikvision was also evaluated based on their field support, inside sales, distribution management, new products, and training.

“Hikvision strives to be the gold standard for service in the security marketplace,” Hikvision North America’s Vice President of Sales Chris Zenaty said. “This award is a particularly meaningful honor for us.

Additionally, Hikvision North America has also been tasked with offering a solution to Texas School Districts in compliance with the new Texas Senate Bill 507.

Also known as SB-507, the bill requires schools to install audio and video monitoring devices inside classrooms. It also states that all recordings are required to be stored and released no later than six months after the original recording. The solution utilizes the pairing together and quick installation of both Hikvision’s high-quality IP cameras and Eagle Eye Network’s video management systems. The cameras as well as the VMS is highly resistant to hacking and also features customized alerts for motion, intrusion, and other helpful alarm settings.
