Hikvision Kicks Off U.S. 2018 Roadshow

Global security and surveillance provider Hikvision has announced that it will initiate its 2018 Cybersecurity Road Show this month, a multi-month tour led by Director of Cybersecurity for North America Chuck Davis.

At each stop across the country, Hikvision is scheduled to present “Cybersecurity Myths and Facts: Presented by Hikvision,” an interactive, fully realized 90-minute learning session that details the pros and cons of cybersecurity. The tour will also provide an overview of cyber threats, discuss potential vulnerabilities and outline how best to approach these challenges. With the presentation, the company also aims to dispel some myths about the industry.

The tour is a part of Hikvision’s global touring campaign, some of which were led by Davis himself. Taking note of the success that Hikvision Canada had in their Cybersecurity Road Show late last year, Hikvision’s UK team started their tour earlier this year to showcase new artificial intelligence, Deep Learning technologies and live demonstrations across 71 cities in southwest, southeast and northwestern zones of Europe. This month, Hikvision South Africa will be running concurrently with the US tour in their own backyard, driving across twelve cities—from Cape Town to Nelspruit—to present the company’s EasyIP 3.0 and Turbo HD 4.0 security systems.

Leading the entire show will be Davis, who as elected Director of Cybersecurity last October. With more than 20 years of upstarting high-class cybersecurity and IBM malware defense programs under his belt, Hikvision shows confidence in Davis’ ability to lead the nationwide tour and increase potential partnerships with cybersecurity industry professionals. The first stop of the US tour starts at Burbank, California. The first day of the tour will be held at The Colony Theatre Company at 10am.
