Bangalore, Karnataka is now home to a new customer experience center, established by wiring solutions provider Belden Incorporated. Combined with a detailed portfolio going over Belden’s solution-driven products, visitors of the center also have the opportunity to receive hands-on training that focuses on industrial and enterprise markets.
Be stuck in traffic no longer! Hikvision, one of the biggest supplier in CCTV and surveillance equipment, has come to Yangon, Myanmar’s aid after being hand-picked by the city’s development committee. Their mission: to design a city-wide traffic management solution that can successfully fight against vehicle collisions, traffic congestions, and street violations.
Dubai marks the last trip on our monthly roundup tour, where the ever-exciting GITEX Technology Week is held at the Dubai World Trade Center. Among the conference’s long list of showcases, identity solutions supplier HID Global unveils their Approve App, a mobile-driven two-step authentication system for requesting information access and finalizing transactions. The app works in line with ActivID Authentication Server and can be customized to the user’s liking!
Stay In School!
The Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana joined forces with Belden to create the Belden Workforce Training Program, a training regimen designed for junior and senior high school students. The program aims to help improve a student’s skills in quality assurance, problem-solving, understanding customer relations, project teamwork and eliminating waste. The training also prepares students for Belden’s paid internship program.
Lastly, electrical wiring and power distribution supplier Legrand links up with Hartford Public High School to partake in the Green Apple Day of Service, a program dedicated to heightening sustainability efforts in local communities. The task at hand? Building a solar-powered shed in the high school’s community garden.
