Between the Edge Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in February to the IMARK Showcase in Rosemont, IL a few weeks ago, we are excited to see all of our suppliers and members engage with one another in person, discussing the best business practices, as well as trading ideas about products and the market. Now with ISC West around the corner, we’re excited to see what the future holds.
For this month’s roundup, we’ll be taking a look at Hikvision and other key market players who made an impact. We’ll also be honoring a few of our Edge Conference Winners here as well.
Here are some highlights and product reveals for March 2018.
Several of our suppliers were on hand in Rosemont, IL for the IMARK Group Conference at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. Vanco International, Hikvision, DYMO and Dantona was with us on the show floor talking with conference goers about the latest products and industry trends. Vanco delightfully engaged with customers on the importance of high-quality HDMI cables and crisp-sounding Beale Street Studio speakers. DYMO also had a booth with us on the show floor, talking extensively about the XTL 300 Labelmaker while Dantona Industries shared information about the benefits of their Custom Battery Packs and other relatable battery products.

HID Global & National Championships
HID Global announces the addition of facial recognition capabilities to HID Approve, their two-factor authentication platform. The facial recognition will allow HID Approve users to use phones like the iPhone X to gain access to sensitive material. The authentication solutions supplier also secured FIPS 201 compliance for its Crescendo PIV card, a dual-interface smart card that features PKI-based authorization, digital signature, and encryption capabilities that allow users to access workstations, laptops and cloud applications.
Risk Management solutions are also on HID’s radar. The platform includes three engine phases, Threat, Behavior, and Anomaly, each of which track device IDs, malware, and phishing attacks, keep tabs on behavioral profiles and detect transaction anomalies in the system.
