Middle Atlantic, a Legrand brand that develops products for commercial, residential and security infrastructure, has decided to combine its electrical engineering and power product management teams into one department in order to prioritize attention to customer satisfaction.

The new department, now spearheaded by Product Management Director Scott Lowder, is now responsible for handling challenges in integration as well as developing plans and concepts that lead toward innovative products and solutions. Lowder is a security solution professional with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut as well as an MBA in finance and marketing intelligence. He has also previously worked for ASSA ABLOY and has been awarded a myriad of patents.

Lowder says that the constant evolution of technology is the primary motivator for Middle Atlantic’s department merge. With so many changes, communication with consumers is highly important.

“This is an opportunity to create a seamless link between our customers and the talented engineers that are working to develop our next innovations that will reliably deliver the expected end-user experience,” Lowder said. “Solving customer problems is the primary focus of the Middle Atlantic power team, and we are fortunate to work with the most talented consultants, engineers, and integrators in the world.”

This merger comes to fruition shortly after Middle Atlantic made visual and navigation changes to its website. They are also set to appear at the Epson Integrator Certification showcase in New York this next Wednesday.
