In an effort to ward off malware, phishing, and hacking, HID Global has announced a new partnership that seeks to develop anti-fraud solutions for financial institutions.

Their statement outlines that they will be collaborating with Czech Republic’s R&D Lab known as ThreatMark. The lab is responsible for creating solutions that detect malware as well as specialize in artificial intelligence and behavioral biometrics. HID Global’s partnership will focus on helping banks, credit unions and other financial institutions protect itself from vicious malware programs, identity theft, and suspicious transactions.

HID believes that their expertise in Identity & Access Management solutions will serve as a brilliant combination with ThreatMark’s specialty in fraud protection.

“Working with ThreatMark not only provides a partnership with a very successful company with domain know-how, but it also gives us visibility into an even broader attack surface that needs to be addressed,” HID Global Vice President Martin Ladstaetter said.
