Fluke Launches T6 Electrical Testers For Easier Measurements

Fluke Corporation has just made the job of electrical maintenance a whole lot easier with the launch of their new T6 Electrical Tester. This tool makes it safer to measure both volt and current without the need for test leads.

The T6 Testers are made with FieldSense Technology, a haptic and magnetic mechanism developed by the University of Oxford. This technology focuses on sensing electronic vibrations while minimizing the use of power. Fluke’s T6 Testers implements this in order swiftly conduct ac, volt, and current measurements without the need for electricians to physically deal with hard-to-reach conductors or open panels.

The T6-600 and T6-1000 models can measure up to 600 volts and 1000 volts respectively. Both contain the FieldSense Technology and are made with a wide, open-fork design. Other specifications of the T6 Electrical Testers include a backlight for clear readings and compatibility with Fluke’s TPAK Magnetic Meter Hanger, a convenient equipment that allows users to hang all of their multimeters and tools onto hooks, nails and other objects.
